our first book

I can not tell you how excited i am for all those who joined the la porte rouge book club, forty three to be exact!( more everyday)
choosing the first book was not easy, i asked advice, pondered and finally decided on
Tess of the D'Urbervillesby Thomas Hardy.

so here we go!

i have placed the logo at the bottom of the blog along with url for you to copy and past on your blog!

i can not wait to go on this journey and meet Tess of the D'Ubervilles.

i hope i did good by you, thank you again for joining me!

    I love this idea. However, I'm not sure if I can join this month. First I've got to check if my library will have the English version available and second, it's quite a long book, Hardy is hard to read when you're not a native speaker and I have a huge pile of books to be read. I'll try my best though and join in next month the latest :)

    ilwen, i hope you do find it or perhaps one can be mailed to but no worries, since next montha new book will be announced. i have been told by many readers there is free legal version on the internet!
